IT Software Developer – Windchill PLM

 

Essential Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windchill PLM Software Developer to join our team. As a Windchill PLM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our PLM system using Windchill to support product development and lifecycle management. In this role, you will promote simplification and standardization across a large technology ecosystem. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance and customize the Windchill platform to meet our business needs.

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain the Windchill PLM system to support product development and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windchill configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Consult in the design of platform upgrades and their successful implementation.
  • Consult with appropriate business teams to understand technical requirements and define architectural solutions.
  • Stay updated with Windchill software updates, new features, and industry best practices to optimize system performance and capabilities.
  • Member of an agile team and collaboration in an international environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related subjects, or equivalent work experience
  • Profound experience with PTC Windchill and the corresponding product suite (PDMLink, PTC Thingworx Navigate, Project Link etc.) is a must; experience with any other PLM platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Java programming and experience working with Windchill APIs for customization.
  • Strong background in cloud technology.
  • Experience in the following domains: PLM Methodology, BoM Lifecycle, Data Migration, Change Process, Data Classification, Document Management.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English is a must; German language is a plus.
  • Legal work authorization to work in Hungary is required (non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with Catia and/or PTC Creo is valuable.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP, SQL and Relational Databases is beneficial.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
